Request for Expression of Interest (EOI) for the Supply of Medical Equipment - Notice N. 01 of 2025.
This Expression of Interest is strictly open only to companies and legally registered entities (legal persons). Individual consultants or natural persons are not eligible to apply.
The Italian Agency for Development Cooperation (AICS) – Nairobi Office – intends to establish a shortlist of organizations and/or companies eligible to participate in potential future tenders within the framework of the program “Establishment of a Health Network in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda” (AID 012519/01/0), as well as in other upcoming procurement procedures related to the supply of healthcare equipment.
The purpose of this Expression of Interest is to conduct a market survey and to invite qualified organizations and/or companies to submit their candidatures. The shortlist will remain valid for a maximum period of three (3) years. Please note that this request for Expression of Interest does not involve any ranking, scoring, or merit-based classification.
This invitation is open to organizations and/or companies specialized in the following sector:
· Supply of medical equipment to healthcare facilities supported by the Italian Cooperation in Kenya.
Description: The AICS Regional Office in Nairobi intends to support the equipping of the new Maternity Ward at Malindi Sub County Hospital (Kenya), which has been constructed as part of the ongoing program “Establishment of a Health Network in Kenya, Tanzania and Uganda” (AID 012519/01/0), funded by the Italian Agency for Development Cooperation. The program officially started on July 1st, 2023, and is scheduled to end on February 26th, 2026. The construction of the Maternity Ward is currently in its final phase. The AICS Regional Office in Nairobi, as the donor, has decided to allocate additional funds to cover the remaining equipment needs.
The candidates shall refer to Annex 2 attached to this announcement for detail their level of specialization in the declared fields/areas.
The interested candidate shall submit the following documents:
Ø VAT Registration and/or Fiscal Code Registration.
Ø Tax Compliance Certificate.
Ø Filled Annex_1 Application form.
Ø Filled Annex_2 Declaration on Honor on exclusion criteria.
Ø Valid ID card of a Company Legal Representative.
Ø Signed Annex_3 Data Protection Regulation.
Ø Company profile for organizations and/or companies.
